There are many reasons why people need an eyebrow transplant. The most common cause is years of over-plucking – the hair follicles become permanently damaged and stop producing hair. Other causes include alopecia areata, thyroid conditions, chemotherapy, or naturally thin brows.

Scars from accidents, surgeries, or piercings can also affect the brows. An eyebrow transplant can resolve all of these issues and give you full, natural eyebrows.

An eyebrow transplant is highly precise work. Unlike a scalp transplant where thousands of grafts are placed, each brow requires only 200–400 grafts – but every single one must be placed perfectly.

We exclusively use single-hair grafts, as natural eyebrow hairs grow individually. Placement is done with the DHI technique and fine Choi implanter pens. This allows us to control the exact angle (10–45 degrees, depending on position) and direction of each hair.

Understanding the natural growth direction is especially important: at the brow head (inner section), the hairs grow upward; in the middle, more horizontally; and at the brow tail (outer section), downward. Only this approach produces a natural result.

Before every eyebrow transplant, we plan the design of your new eyebrows together. We consider your face shape, your eye position, your natural brows (if present), and your personal wishes.

The design is drawn onto your face on the day of the procedure with a special pen. You can check it in the mirror and request adjustments – more arch, wider tail, more density at the head. We only begin once you are completely satisfied.

This treatment is especially popular with women, but men increasingly benefit from it as well. For women, it often involves correcting damage from over-plucking or achieving fuller, more modern brows. For men, the eyebrows are often naturally thinner or affected by scarring.

The technique is the same for both genders, but the design differs. Men's brows tend to be straighter and bolder, while women's brows have more arch and are more finely shaped. We tailor the design individually.

Healing after the procedure requires special care. The eyebrow region is sensitive and close to the eyes. During the first few days, you should avoid rubbing, not apply makeup, and be careful when washing.

Small crusts form and fall off after 7–10 days. Mild swelling around the eyes is normal and subsides within 3–5 days. After 2 weeks, you are fully presentable again and can use makeup.

An eyebrow transplant with us costs between €1,800 and €3,500 all-inclusive for both brows. The price depends on the number of grafts needed – light thickening requires fewer, while a complete rebuild needs more.
